For 5 years, Ahmed Jama sat on the other side of the audit room. As a business tax auditor, he reviewed corporate filings, challenged expense claims, and decided what to pursue. He saw every kind of mistake, and every kind of taxpayer caught off guard by a system they didn't understand.
That experience changed how he approaches accounting. When Ahmed reads a T2 return, he knows what triggers a review. When a tax notice arrives, he knows what it really means. When he builds a tax plan, he knows whether it will survive scrutiny, because he used to apply that scrutiny himself.
